Stanfield Farms gladly accepts major credit cards through PayPal for payment of deposits and adoption fees. STANFIELD FARMS’ DEPOSIT & ADOPTION POLICY (IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ) 1 We are more than happy to hold a puppy exclusively for an adoptive family. Once a puppy has been selected to adopt and a deposit placed on the adoption of the puppy, the deposit can not be transferred to another puppy nor can it be refunded if the adoptive family should later change their mind about adopting the puppy. The full amount of the deposit will be applied toward the adoption fee of the puppy. The deposit will be forfeited if the final balance due on the adoption fee is not received by the date specified in the adoption papers. Stanfield Farms then has the right to place the puppy up for adoption again. Deposits are non-refundable except in the event the puppy selected becomes unhealthy and is no longer adoptable. 2 The granting of an adoption is based upon what is in the best interest of a puppy or one of our adults. Stanfield Farms reserves the right to refuse an adoption or cancel an adoption before delivery of the puppy/adult if it is determined the adoption would not be in the best interest of the adoptee. Any deposits remitted on the cancelled adoption will be returned to the adopter less any expenses incurred for that specific adoption that cannot be recaptured through placing the adoptee up for adoption again. 3 Stanfield Farms is USDA/APHIS compliant. USDA/APHIS guidelines require you or your representative to physically view your puppy before the final adoption. 4 The date puppies from an individual litter are ready to go home with their forever family is posted on our website five to six weeks in advance of the date. The puppy’s new family is expected to pick up their puppy no later than four (4) days after that specified date. It is the responsibility of the new family to make advance provisions to assure their puppy is picked up within that four day period. We love our puppies and enjoy them while they are with us. However, boarding fees will begin to accrue on the fifth day due to the additional expenses associated with food, grooming and socialization. Any veterinarian expenses incurred after the fourth day for additional immunizations or other medical issues will be in addition to the boarding fees. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in complying with this policy.
